The problem with Valentine’s Day is that it’s pink and red and frilly. In other words, it’s feminine.
Now, there’s nothing wrong with “feminine”—heck, guys love “feminine”!—but there is something wrong with only feminine. And that’s what Valentine’s Day has evolved into. Look at the ads, look in the store windows: Pink and red and frills as far as the eye can see. Not a hint of masculinity to be found.
Is it any wonder that guys head for the hills on Valentine’s Day?!
